What is Video Production?

Pre-production, production, and post-production are the three stages of video production.

Pre-production includes all aspects of the video production process that are planned before filming begins. This includes writing scripts, scheduling, logistics, and other administrative tasks.

Production is the stage of video production that involves filming the subject(s) of the video and capturing the video content (electronic moving images).

Post-production is the process of combining video clips selectively through video editing into a finished product that tells a story or communicates a message in either a live event setting (live production) or after an event has occurred (post-production).
